SALARY: $17.20/hour 35 per week, 8 week contract

QUALIFICATIONS:
Enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., history, anthropology, English, education, sciences)
Knowledgeable about Indigenous histories in Canada
Knowledgeable about the TRC and its calls to action
Demonstrate writing skills – a one-page academic writing sample is required
Able and willing to work in person, onsite in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas (no remote work will be offered);
Eligibility :
Able and willing to work in person, onsite in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas (noremote work will be offered);
Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
International students are not eligible.
